Living in Portugal has countless advantages, so we decided to list them so that you can make people aware of what Portugal is.

Portugal enjoys a very positive average when it comes to its climate. With the vast majority of days of the year filled with sunshine, the truth is that it also depends on which Portuguese city or region you choose to live in.
In general terms, north of Lisbon the weather will be colder and in the south it will tend to warm up. In the interior, temperatures tend to get more extreme according to the time of year, but overall the Portuguese enjoy mild temperatures, compared to the rest of Europe.
Of course, if you come from more tropical countries like Brazil, you will have to adapt to colder waters and relatively lower temperatures than those you are used to.
COST OF LIVING
In Portugal, the cost of living is much lower than in countries like England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany and is one of the most affordable in Western Europe. Depending on the region you choose as your new home, it can be 20 to 30% cheaper, especially when it comes to food and housing. Obviously, the cost has been rising considerably over the last decade, but the truth is that it is still much easier to buy a house in Portugal than in other European cities and countries.

VERY ATTRACTIVE TAX REGIME
The national tax regime can become very interesting when compared to other countries and therefore attract investors, liberal professionals, scientific research, know-how, intellectual property and other talents. If you are a foreign citizen and choose to change your fiscal residence to Portugal, you can apply for the non habitual resident regime and with that you will be entitled to tax benefits for ten years.
